Rapture
Rapture
All is fair in one’s rapture,
drunken through the blissful veins
chortling, laughing, crying with joy,
they seek their pleasure that never destroys
drunken through the blissful veins
chortling, laughing, crying with joy,
they seek their pleasure that never destroys
Forgetting the hindrances of their past,
they swathe the felicity that forever lasts
fantasising as if they walk through the clouds,
comfort that’s unwrapped as a gift; bestowed
The rain showers and they dance alone,
although their reticent self finds ecstasy on their throne
the mist clears, chuckles pour through the sky,
but speckles of bitter sadness still hurt inside
rasa: hasya (joy/laughter)
